This reminds me a lot of an article from a bit ago: 23 and You: Does that commercial DNA test you just bought violate somebody else’s privacy? It deals with the same things - privacy, 23andme, accidentally revealing horrible secrets, etc. Another FANTASTIC story regarding genetics, family drama, and secrets is a story from This American Life. It is by far one of my all time favorite TAL stories: The Ghost of Bobby Dunbar
