Maybe that's true, but I sure wouldn't edit Wikipedia anymore if I couldn't do so anonymously. I'm willing to bet many existing users wouldn't either. Getting death threats over fixing a proof on a math article would be much less funny if the nuts could actually find you.But for Wikipedia to actually become a platform fully embraced by women, it would have to change its culture in fundamental ways, reducing its emphasis on anonymity and providing more opportunities for meaningful companionship and satisfying social relationships between its contributors
