Pfft, imagine running into Lamar Smith at a dinner party. Cuz when I did... I almost posted incriminating thoughtcrime about it in a Hubski comment. Edit: Just caught up on McCaul's stance, and subsequently realized my grandma declared war on me when she didn't put any cash in my birthday card this year. But seriously, I don't feel any qualms about bombing those fuckers, aside from their potential retributions, the tax dollars required to fund it, and the inevitable casualties of innocent civilians. Still, airstrikes against them seem much more straightforward than both the Iraq and Afghanistan war fronts. Do I think they're at war with us? No, but I think they'd like to be, and just lack the capital and personnel to extend their reach halfway around the world. Would love to hear anyone else's thoughts on this.
