So, I didn't want to invite a bunch of people out of the frying pan and into the fire as it were, so I'm in the process of doing some due diligence on the folks here at Hubski. First here's one of the co-founders, Steven Clausnitzer, on his LinkedIn page: That's a good start. EDIT: For those I have come looking for refuge, welcome, and here's a guide to how the site works. One of the main benefits, you don't have to see stuff from people who don't matter to you. EDIT 2: I shouted out to the founders via Twitter, this is what one of them had to say.Conversation on the web is broken. There is a lack of true community online, and people aren't developing great relationships with one another. Following topics or interests leads to an echo chamber of likeminded individuals agreeing with each other. When intelligent discourse does happen, vitriolic commentary and trolls drown it out. Hubski fixes this.
