You all assume that the functionality on Hubski is akin to reddit. This happens every time we have an influx from reddit. The truth is, Hubski's functionality is much more similar to twitter in that you follow people/tags. If you follow people that post 9gag-ish content, then you get what you deserve. If you follow tags that have crappy content, then you get what you deserve. You can follow users, tags, domains on hubski and you can also ignore them. Your feed is curated by the people/things you chose to put there. So, if the site is "dumbed down" take a look at the choices you are making in regards to who/what you follow. Make sense?
