I haven't gone to the school, but have several friends and family that have. I expect that the undergraduate experience is largely what you make of it. Class sizes are large, but the student body is intelligent and active, and there seems to be an endless number of student groups, etc. The campus is very nice. Ann Arbor is a terrific town that often makes lists of the best places to live in the US. The public transport is very good, it's very walkable, there are tons of parks, and the food and music scenes are vibrant and diverse. At 120k, it's not a large city, but there's plenty to keep you entertained for four years. Also, I'll buy you a beer.
