Thanks for sharing this c, Sun Ra is incredible stuff. I got exposed to them through my love of all things Yo La Tengo. Ira Kaplan is a big fan of Sun Ra / Sun Ra Arkestra, going so far as to perform with certain members live during some Yo La Tengo concerts. I have a recording of one of them that you'd probably like, but I'm having trouble searching for it at the moment. Okay, I can't seem to find it anywhere but it's a record by the name of "Sun Ra Tengo (or, the I-Ra Arkestra)" and is a performance from 2003 comprised of Yo La Tengo and the Sun Ra Arkestra".
