IMO there seems to be some sort of fetishizing of anonymity and identity that goes beyond practicality and real-world ramifications. The methodology is somewhat interesting, but the result seems pretty banal when compared to the effort. The mechanisms that scoop identities are so shitty that they occasionally create their own out of misspellings and transpositions. Also, I'd be mad if I was his roomate that is just to the left of him. Aaron Brown looks like his twin.
